Imagefile Ireland Ltd. is a stock photography library of 6 million images based in Dublin, Ireland.

Graduating from the ‘Birmingham School of Photography’ in the late 70’s, Jaimie started his own commercial photography business Studio 79 in Dublin’s Merrion Square. Studio 79 led Jaimie into interests in both food and marine photography. In 1983 two of his images were printed on Irish national postage stamps.

In 1990, Jaimie established Ireland’s first commercial stock picture library, Slidefile. Along with business partner George Munday, Slidefile provided the Irish market with a wide range stock photography of Ireland and the world held in a large transparency library in the centre of Dublin City. Slidefile was one of the first library’s in the world to have a computerised stock catalogue!

Progressing the business forward in 2002, Jaimie established Imagefile Ireland, an entirely digital stock photography company that represents international stock picture agencies in Ireland. The company now offers instant internet access to over 6.5 million images, shot from thousands of locations worldwide.
